Keith Haring: 1958 - 1990



Keith Haring died of AIDS-related illnesses in 1990 at the age of 31.
The Keith Haring Foundation was established in 1989 to assist AIDS-related and children's charities, and maintains the largest resource of archives on the late artist, Keith Haring.
Haring's bold lines and active figures carry poignant messages of vitality and unity. His legacy made an impact on late 20th century art and grants us all a vision for the future.

Google keeps Les Paul doodle for an extra day

New Delhi:  The digital guitar that Google put up on his home page, to celebrate the 96th birthday of the country and jazz guitarist, songwriter and inventor Les Paul, will stay on for another day, Google informed in a Twitter post. Since Google said it is extending the doodle for US users only, users outside the US can continue to strum the Google Doodle guitar, by clicking on the "Go to Google.com" link on the country-specific Google pages. "Due to popular demand, we're leaving the Les Paul doodle up in the US for an extra day. Thanks for jamming with us!," a post on the official Google Twitter account said. The Google doodle in honour of Les Paul is playable by hovering the cursor over the doodle and even by the computer keyboard. Users could also record the their own 30-second track.   Here’s an easy, yes-or-no question: Is the universe complex? YES, of course, you could say; it would be crazy to think otherwise!
